THE LAFAYETTE-OXFORD-UNIVERSITY CULTURAL EVENTS COMMITTEE
AND THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI MUSEUM PRESENT
Silas Reed N’ Da Books
In the Grove on the University of Mississippi campus in Oxford, MS
at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012.
“Silas Reed N’ Da Books” (SRB) is a jam collective fed by a deep roster of talented musical personalities. SRB combines Electro, Gospel, Soul, Rock, and Jazz into one textured live experience. This positive unit has been in existence since the summer of 2007, with the first line-up taking shape almost immediately after Silas graduated from Oxford High School in Oxford, MS. SRB has been living and breathing ever since and has matured along with the numerous members that compose its roster.
SRB operates as a mirror that reflects the life experiences of its members through music and live performance. We hope you will join us for this fun-filled evening of music and community in the Grove as part of the 2012 Summer Sunset Series.
